Where to eat Indian Curry in Inazawa City|Lunch at Sapna

Risa

Sapuna is my all-time favorite Indian/Nepali curry restaurant in Inazawa City. Sapuna has a few more branches in Central Japan, such as Nagoya, Sakae, Ichinomiya, and Shiga Prefecture. Since we moved to Inazawa, we have come for takeout countless times.

LUNCH MENU AT SAPUNA

Always remember, lunch is much more reasonably priced compared to dinner time here in Japan. The menu is described in both Japanese and English, and most of the staff are from Nepal, so you don’t have to worry about the language barrier, even in the countryside like Inazawa City.

An additional note is that if you order a standard naan, you can get a refill for free. Also, Mango Lassi as an optional drink is the best, as far as I know.

INSIDE ATMOSPHERE AT SAPUNA

It is so thoughtful for us, like bringing a little naughty boy, that we can choose between a Japanese-style table and normal tables. When my boy was around 6 months old, we chose a Japanese-style table, and he could lie on the blanket while we ate very peacefully. Now that he can sit by himself, we choose a standard table, and it’s so nice that Sapuna also provides a kids’ chair.

WHAT WE ORDERED AT SAPUNA

While we have tried many lunch sets, we now know what to order. We always go for a Sapuna Lunch for both me and my husband. He orders a chicken curry with 0 spice and a standard naan so my boy can eat with us. I order veggie curry with extra spice and Honey Cheese Naan, willing to pay a little extra. The combination of sweetness and spice is always so good. Maybe I lived in Thailand for so long and got used to this. Hahaha!
