Sri Trat Restaurant & Bar in Bangkok

We travelled to Bangkok with 9 months old son, and my husband in May 2023 after 3 years I left Bangkok. Sri Trat was always my bucket list to enjoy Thai East Food, and one of my favorite restaurant in Bangkok!

It’s easy to find a North-East or North Thai food in Bangkok, but not East foods.

Also, here is on the list of Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand ( good quality, good value cooking)! Since my good friend took me here for my birthday celebration, I am a big fun since then.

I do love Thai local foods on the street, but here is something exceptional to experience the Thai antique atmosphere and special moments with great foods! Here is a variety of vegetarian menu to enjoy with too!

You can check menu on their facebook. Link attached at the end of this article.

Signature dish: Thai herbal salad and vinegar cooked barracuda 250 THB

I love this spicy, and crunchy sweet source.

Deep fried Koh Chang sun dried Squid 290 THB

Thai appetizer platter 350 THB

Sharing for 3 people was a perfect size to try out different small dish! Vegetarian Menu!

Stir fried Shrimp ( Kao Pad Gun) did not order by menu so dont know how much.

Spicy Sour soup with mushroom ( Tom yum hed ) 220 THB – Vegetarian Menu!

Tom Yum Gun has actually 2 different style, with dark colour soup and light colour soup. I personally prefer light colour one without coconut milk, and most favorite soup! I cannot find the exact same taste like this in Japan, so I cook at home with Thai herbs sometime.

Restaurant information

I booked a table via instagram direct message, and they replied me within a same day! I also recommend to book a table in advance!
