Little more special Lunch experience at The living room with SKY BAR in Nagoya

Risa

Have you ever heard the word “女子会 (Jyoshi-kai)”?

Jyoshi means girls, and Kai means meeting. It refers to a girls’ day or night out, simply enjoying talking and eating delicious food with friends!

I recently had a girls’ day out with two of my lovely high school friends; our friendship spans more than a decade now. We visited one of my favorite restaurants in Nagoya.

Normally, lunchtime is crowded, and it’s challenging to make a reservation around Nagoya Station, with long queues, especially during lunch hours. However, at this restaurant, we were able to reserve a table, and each table had enough space, making it a comfortable experience.

Location

The restaurant is located on the 18th floor of Mitsui Garden Hotel Premium Nagoya.

I don’t recommend going via the underground route, as it can be complicated, and you may get lost. Instead, I suggest using Google Maps and searching for “Symphony Toyota Building.” The hotel is located inside the Symphony Toyota building, with the hotel occupying the floors above 18 and offices below. Upon reaching the hotel entrance, you’ll find two elevators that will take you directly to the 18th floor.

The living room with SKY BAR in Nagoya

The restaurant features a Modern Oriental Cuisine theme, focusing on the Middle East cuisine of the East Mediterranean. The chef carefully selects ingredients from four domestic prefectures: Aichi, Shizuoka, Mie, and Gifu. I have personally visited the restaurant several times for both lunch and dinner. The night view is particularly stunning, thanks to the expansive windows, making the dining experience a bit more special.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent combination of price, service, food quality, and overall location.

Menu

Casual Course :

Appetizer, Main and Desert ( Weekdays 2,600 yen / Weekend 2,800 yen)

Living course:

Appetizer, Sourp, Fish, Meat and Desert ( Weekdays 3,000 yen / Weekend 3,600 yen )

*Menu in August 2023. Price and Menu may be changed.

I’ve taken a casual course before with my mum, but apparently, it wasn’t enough for me—hahaha.

This time, I opted for a living course, and it was the perfect portion for me! There’s a special course that’s a bit over my budget, priced at 4,600 yen/5,100 yen.
